  • Marissa Strehlow
    Office Manager
Hi there! My name is Marissa Strehlow. I am a licensed Athletic Trainer. I currently work as an outreach Athletic Trainer for a local North Shore High School. I attended Concordia University Wisconsin and received a Bachelors Of Science degree in Athletic Training and then attended A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona and received a Masters Of Science in Athletic Training. I have been a practicing Athletic Trainer for the past 7 years. I really enjoy helping young athletes and members of the community achieve their sports goals by assisting them to get back to their sports effectively and efficiently. One of the best aspects of my job is seeing athletes get back on the field or court and seeing their smiles when they have that ability to return to what they love. I am excited to start my journey here at Wisconsin Family and Sports Chiropractic because I love how it will encompass what I am already reinforcing in my current career. When I am not working I enjoy attending sporting events with my husband and taking adventures with my Corgi, Cali.

I am a graduate of Wisconsin School of Massage Therapy in Germantown Wisconsin. I specialize in various types of massage modalities, including Sweedish Massage, Prenatal Massage, Sports Massage, Salt Stone Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Therapeutic Massage.  I am a true believer that massage works in various ways that can help the muscles of the body.  I love being a part of the chiropractic setting because I believe that the two areas of specialty compliment each other very well. If you have never had a massage you don’t know what you have been missing!  I invite you to try one of the various massages that we offer.  I look forward to working with you!

  • Thom Gonring
    Massage Therapist

Thom is a graduate of Lakeside School of Massage Therapy, and has been practicing massage since 2004.  He looked into massage after a chair massage freed up his neck movement, after 7 years of immobility. He believes the best results are realized when the client participates actively in the healing process. He seeks to release the major tension first, so excessive pressure is not necessary, by pinpointing the main source of the problem. He uses Swedish, TuiNa, Sports Massage, Trigger Point, MyoFascial Techniques, Lotus Hands (Structural Elements),Shiatsu (accupressure), Neuromuscular techniques, and more. Thom continues to be active in supporting the massage industry through teaching at the Milwaukee School of Massage, and as an Approved Provider of Continuing Education through the NCBTMB for ongoing education requirements of Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs).
