Over the last few months, Dr. Kenzie has been away from the office taking many new continuing education courses. In addition to the numerous rehabilitation and pediatric courses, she found the time to get WEBSTER CERTIFIED! 

Webster certification is a chiropractic technique than analyzes the sacrum and SI joints to make sure they are moving properly and free of dysfunction. Having proper function ensures that the pelvis moves optimally, and that the rest of the body doesn’t have to compensate!

The Webster technique is most well known in the pregnant population, because it is a gentle and effective technique to restore motion to a pelvis that isn’t moving properly. This allows the pelvis to have better motion so that during the birth process, the labor and delivery are as easy as possible for the mother. Although the Webster technique is frequently used to help with pregnancy, it can be used on any population — children, males, and adults – because everyone has a pelvis!

At Wisconsin Family and Sports Chiropractic, Dr. Kenzie will continue to pair this technique with other therapies that she currently uses, including: Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, myofascial release, rehabilitation, and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) in order to best help our patients become pain free and move efficiently!
